Lido Adriano

Ravenna

It's the newest of Ravenna's beaches, but it's quite something: in terms of popularity, it sometimes even surpasses the locals' favorite beach in Marina di Ravenna.

Lido Adriano is one of the few beaches on the Adriatic where a natural dune zone still exists in parts between the beach and the first row of houses. Its convenient location is also worth noting - just 10 km from Ravenna.

The swimming season runs from April to September, and the town itself offers various apartment complexes, campgrounds, shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, and cafés. The town is well-known among experts for its international mosaic course held in the summer.

The best thing about Lido Adriano is its close proximity to the city of Ravenna, one of the few cities in Italy - once the seat of the Byzantine governor - to which Polyglott awards 3 stars. This makes Lido Adriano the perfect place to combine a beach vacation with cultural tourism.

The outskirts of Ravenna are less attractive, with many industrial facilities. But who cares when you're lying on the beach - the area is still one of the most sought-after vacation destinations in northern Italy and offers that quintessential Emilia-Romagna vacation vibe.
