Just 20 km south of Ravenna, right on the coast with a 10-km-long beach of the finest sand and shallow waters, lies the municipality of Cervia. It comprises the three towns of Cervia, Milano Marittima - with its elegant hotels - and Pinarella. It has been awarded the Blue Flag for the fifth time since 1973.

Cervia is not only a modern seaside resort but also an ancient salt town: events are held in the former salt warehouses, which also house the Museum of Salt Culture.
It also boasts a historic old town featuring a cathedral, town hall, municipal theater, and the San Michele Tower. The modern part of the town is represented by the so-called "floating carpet," a beautiful fountain made of colorful mosaics.

The Cervia Pine Forest is a nature reserve covering nearly 300 hectares. In addition to Pinus pinaster and Pinus pinea (which provides the pine nuts for your pesto genovese), the forest is also home to oak, poplar, and black locust trees.
The Pineta offers 32 trails for exploring the reserve, but they are only accessible from sunrise to sunset.

The thermal baths of Cervia attract visitors with their precious Liman lagoon mud and their therapeutic waters, which are sourced from salt pans located within an 827-hectare nature reserve. This area, which forms the southern part of the Po Delta Nature Park, even serves as a nesting ground for many bird species.
