Barcolana

First held 38 years ago, the Barcolana is one of the most popular events in the northern Adriatic. Up to 1,000 boats take part in the regatta – everyone is welcome to join. The name Barcolana comes from the Barcola district, where the race starts.
The meeting point is at the Palazzo dei Congressi by the sea (see map), and the event is organized by the Barcolana-Grignano Sailing Club.
